On July 11, Fantagio announced the news through its official social media channels, sharing a video of Lee Sung Kyung being warmly welcomed under a shower of camera flashes.
“Welcome to Fantagio | Lee Sung Kyung X Fantagio,” the caption read, followed by a message: “Introducing the brilliantly talented actress Lee Sung Kyung, who has now joined the Fantagio family! Let’s create fantastic synergy together—look forward to even more shining moments with Lee Sung Kyung x Fantagio!”
Fantagio is currently home to numerous prominent names in the entertainment industry, including veteran actor Baek Yoon Sik, Kim Seon Ho, Ong Seong Wu, Choi Yoojung, and ASTRO members including Cha Eun Woo, as well as BTOB’s Lee Chang Sub.
Lee Sung-kyung made her acting debut in the 2014 drama It’s Okay, That’s Love and rose to fame with series like Flower of Queen, Cheese in the Trap, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo, and Dr. Romantic 2 & 3. She’s also starred in films such as Girl Cops and Love+Sling, and in 2023, took on the role of Jasmine in the musical Aladdin, marking her stage debut.

She originally signed with YG Entertainment in 2014, following her modeling debut in 2008. After renewing once in 2020, she remained loyal to the agency for over a decade.
However, in January 2025, YG Entertainment announced its exit from actor management, stating a structural shift to focus solely on its music business. This prompted Lee Sung-kyung and other actors under the label to seek new representation.
The actress is also set to return to the small screen in the upcoming JTBC Friday drama “The Nice Guy”, which premieres on July 18, where she will star opposite Lee Dong Wook.
